3D-Printing

How it all started

After some time at the Association Club at my university, I became fascinated with the opportunities that 3D printing could offer. My friend also insisted that I should buy one, which turned out to be one of my better decisions.

First steps

At the beginning, I focused on learning how to operate the printer and slicing software. My first prints were simple calibration cubes and small gadgets. There were some failed attempts, but each one taught me something new. The best part of it was that I had to assemble and disassemble many parts on my own, which gave me a lot of engineering confidence later on with other projects. To this day, nothing gives me more satisfaction than well-fitted parts on the first try!

Some of my projects

Litophane Lamp

As a present for my friend, I decided to make something unique and personal. That’s how I came up with the lamp project. Although the project is not ideal and I could have actually found one on the internet (possibly even a better one), I was still proud and happy with how it turned out.

Rpi case

Raspberry Pi. Friend of every developer. How can you have one and not print your own case for it? :D I think it is self-explanatory why I made it.

Stream deck with volume control

My friend had an idea to use a Stream Deck with potentiometers to help colleagues with live translation. The idea was to enclose an RPi with a PoE hat and Stream Deck, add some potentiometers and XLR cables to manage microphones, headphones, and power for the RPi.

I don’t upload much, however if you’re ever interested in a few of my projects, visit my Thingiverse account!
